Poynton In Business makes quite a showing

Poynton in Business Marquee at Poynton ShowPoynton In Business had a highly successful day at the Poynton Show recently.

Over a dozen volunteers helped on the stand during the course of the day and nearly 200 people were signed up to receive the PIB Newsletter.

Pib the Bear became the star of the stand and it was impossible to move around the show ground without seeing Poynton In Business balloons.

The stand was visited by numerous local councillors, including Poynton Mayoress, Cllr Ms Rebecca Horsman and Macclesfield MP, David Rutley.

The tombola was a great lure for the crowds and thanks go to all those businesses that donated prizes.

Thanks are also due to all the volunteers but special mentions have to go to Paul Goodman (Paul Goodman Associates) for his help with erecting the gazebo in the driving rain and Mike and Jackie Gallagher (Primary Websites) for setting up the IT and wearing a dalmatian costume respectively.

Mike Gallagher of Primary Websites and Vickie Cork of Able2 Physio at the Poynton in Business Marquee at Poynton ShowVickie Cork (Able2 Physio), Chris Gibbons (Query Management), Sarah Nahmad (Blinds by Design), David Lambert (Nordic Walking), Matt Stuckey (Event Sport Pix), Steve Warner (Swift Tree Services) and Mark Costello all did a brilliant job of pumping up balloons and spreading the PIB message.

The day was deemed a great success and a great way of raising PIB’s profile.
